Round 3 of the Irish Drifting Championship is going to be the biggest one-day prize in the drifting history. On June 30th in Mondello Park, County Kildare, Ireland 80 drivers will chase what it could well be a life-changing financial reward, which they will have to keep away from some very competitive international guests.
This is going to be ONE event with only ONE winner who will take the €20,000 prize. Impossible to miss.
Zeetex-sponsored Pro AM drifter Paul Kennedy will compete once again after a challenging Round 1 in Mondello Park back in April and a successful Round 2 in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin, Ireland where he qualified in the top 16.
Based in County Longford, Paul has been using Zeetex tyres for years now because they can guarantee a much better performance, which can ultimately make the difference in such tight competitions.
Tickets for the event can be purchased directly from the Mondello Park website with prices ranging from €11 to €50.
The event will kick off on June 30th at 9 AM Irish time with the Pro-AM Practice session, followed by the 12 pm Pro-AM qualifying, which can also be watched live on the IDC Nation website. The Pro-Practice will take place at 2 PM with the Pro-AM Top 32 following at 3 pm. Podium ceremony closes the day at 6 pm.
July 1st will start at 9 am with the Pro Practice and then Qualifying at 11:30 AM. After the On-Track Driver Meet & Greet at 1:30 PM, there will be a series of Pro Battles between 2:30 PM and 4 PM with the Podium Ceremony taking place at 6 PM.
