The Causeway Coastal Route is 212 km of stunning scenery stretching along the rugged coastline of the Antrim Coastline from Belfast to Derry. This drive boasts some of the most amazing patchwork -quilt countryside, picturesque fishing villages, golden sands, towering cliffs and silent glens. Boyne Valley Scenic Loop
The Boyne Valley Loop is a remarkable drive and probably one of the most historical drives you will have the pleasure of doing in Ireland. It measures approximately 220 km long and spans over 9,000 years of Irish history. This also is a drive that is worth taking your time on, as apart from the stunning scenery, there are 22 attractions to choose from along this route. Some of the most historical places to stop and visit along the way would be Newgrange which in particular is spectacular, having being built around 3200 BC, making it older than the pyramids, the Hill of Tara which according to legend was the seat of the High King and associated pagan clerics and druids, and the impressive Trim Castle one of Ireland’s most famous castles which hosted some of the filming of Mel Gibsons Braveheart.
